Journalist and publicist Šeki Radončić said that the latest “affair” forced by an organization close to the government – MANS, was launched because the state is falling apart and because the institution of the president remained the last line of defense of Montenegro from external and internal attacks.
He reminded that a year ago, in the show “Ukrštene riječi”, Nikola Marković, the current husband of Vanja Ćalović, accused the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, of having an offshore company.
Radončić reminded that Đukanović then confirmed that, emphasizing that it never went further. Now, as Radončić pointed out, a new Pandora's box is being opened when it comes to Đukanović, to be accused of having an offshore company in 2012.
“First, offshore business is legal business, second thing, since Vanja Ćalović likes to give lectures and moralize, she must respect the presumption of innocence. You can't tell Đukanović – you stole something without saying what you stole or you are guilty, without the man being tried or convicted… So, she violates all moral and professional codes. No normal person is against that, if the president of the state or the prime minister stole something, he should be charged”, stated Radončić for Gradska TV.
Radončić pointed out that the affair is in full swing again, because, as he states, the state is falling apart.
“The government is falling apart, ministries are falling apart, administrations are falling apart, education, health care… The only thing that functions in the state of Montenegro is the institution of the president. That is the last factor of stability in Montenegro. Personally his name is Milo Đukanović. So, now they need to tear down the last stone that holds Montenegro, and that is just a continuation of everything that is happening in the last two years, and unfortunately Đukanović is the last line of defense of Montenegro from the attacks of Greater Serbia and Greater Russia.”
He thinks that it is great that SDT formed the case.
“I am sorry that the same Prosecutor's Office did not do the same when it comes to, say, Mr. Percent, a man who owed Montenegro close to a billion EUR and who, as Medojević said, stole more than 20 million or who offered Abazović 21 million for political corruption or something else. I think that the Prosecution should have acted as it did now. For almost 30 years, Đukanović has been chanting – either Milo is a thief or he is accused of stealing money. But, for 30 years now, there is still no evidence for that. Since there is no such evidence, it is clear that these are classic media spins and abuses and an attempt to slander the media and massacre the president,” Radončić concluded.
