They are proven ‘experts’ for the “fifth-column” and quisling betrayal of Montenegro! The conflict between the two ‘concepts’ of the organization of the Government is just a conflict over who will be more helpful towards the interests of Belgrade and Moscow in Montenegro,” said in an interview with Dnevne novine prof. Dr. Milenko Perović, President of the Montenegrin PEN Center.
After the violent enthronement of Metropolitan of SOC Joanikije, Cetinje is not resting. Police arrests citizens accusing them of terrorism, resulting in a constant rise in tensions. What can be concluded about the real nature of this government?
PEROVIĆ: The current government in Montenegro is an ideological descendant of the evil government from 1918. They have the same Greater Serbia ideological base. They have the same conversion hatred towards everything Montenegrin. They have the same assessment that they cannot bring sovereign Montenegro to its knees by mental war, soft power, propaganda, lies and bribery. They are equally ready to commit all kinds of misdeeds and crimes in Montenegro for their Belgrade bosses. They are equally ready to crush the Montenegrin idea and the Montenegrin state with fascist means. They are equal to state terrorism against disobedient people. They share the bullying belief that they can intimidate Montenegrins by force, police persecution, false accusations of terrorism and threats of all kinds. It is the same for them that they have no shame or cheek!
How do you see the situation in the Montenegrin capital, but also in the country after the events from the beginning of last month?
PEROVIĆ: Cetinje is the quintessence of the free Montenegrin duration and for five hundred years the gathering place of all Montenegrin freedmen and citizens of Montenegro who are ready to defend its freedom and independence! The ruling clerical-fascist bum attacked Cetinje by all means of state terrorism. It thought, like many tyrants and occupiers before, that by demonstrating its mafia-police force it would frighten and subdue Cetinje. The fifth of September clearly showed that this tramp in the service of Greater Serbia was ready to commit grave crimes, just like its evil ancestors in 1918.
Only a slightly different set of historical circumstances influenced that serious crimes did not happen that day! Whoever thinks that this assessment is exaggerated, it should be reminded that the same clero-fascist scum, under the same Greater Serbia flags, with priests of the same religious organization, with the same ideologues with bloodshot eyes, shed a sea of blood in the former Yugoslavia! However, the Greater Serbia clerical fascists are slowly beginning to realize that Cetinje is much more than a city and that no aggression will or can reconcile it with the “Serbian world.” Cetinje is an attitude of freedom! Every force is null and void!
An attempt to reshuffle the government is under way. For the time being, GP URA insists on an expert, while the Democrats have accepted the DF's proposal for politicians to be in the Government as well. Do you believe that these parties, which have inflicted the most severe insults on each other, can reach an agreement on anything?
PEROVIĆ: This is not an expert, but Amfilohije's Government. What kind of experts are the “prime minister” and “ministers” when they do not know what the state is nor the state policy. Only the priest's mind, guided by sick greed, could “think” of such a “Government”. And only unknown people could be deceived by the fact that some of them have doctorates of science and university professorships, and that this automatically gives them the competence to run the country.
Probably in almost two hundred countries in the world there could be no “Government” of such incompetent and self-confident ignoramuses as this “Montenegrin”. They are proven “experts” for the “fifth-column” and quisling betrayal of Montenegro! The conflict between the two “concepts” of the organization of the Government is just a conflict over who will be more helpful to the interests of Belgrade and Moscow in Montenegro.
In a derived sense, it is a conflict over the division of spoils of power and privileges. It doesn't matter if their conflict is smoldering, blazing with big words or being frozen. It doesn't matter how long the “soap opera” of their negotiations and agreements will last. Certainly, they all have a great fear of early elections and will avoid them with all their might. They know very well that they cannot retain power in the next early or regular elections. There is no doubt, in order to save it, they are ready for all kinds of manipulations, violence and crimes!
After the violent enthronement in Cetinje, will the influence of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Montenegro decline?
PEROVIĆ: The Church of Serbia has never been a major political factor. It charged the faithful service of the secular authorities with certain privileges. Politics was a ban that it does not enter into. Coincidentally, the Church of Serbia has found itself in Montenegro in a position that does not immanently belong to it or can not belong to it permanently. Fanatically fighting for what is not its nor will it ever be, it has fallen into the center of high state politics. It can't behave properly in it!
There was no wisdom in the leadership of that Church to look carefully at all aspects of what it is doing in Montenegro. Intoxicated by the success made possible by others, that leadership was unable to assess the long-term consequences of its barbaric trampling on the political and historical being of Montenegro. “Spiritualists”, on the contrary, behaved like spoiled and aggressive children who do not know the limits of their desires or try to restrain them. They have predatorily formed a state “Government” that will be responsible only to them. They humiliated Parliament and forced it to illegally amend the Freedom of Religion Act. All its secret wishes were immediately written in the Basic Agreement with the state of Montenegro. With “Litija certificates”, they placed their supporters in state services, not caring what the whole of Montenegro sees and condemns. They hurried with the announcement that they would demolish Njegoš's mausoleum, although they know that this is not possible without a bloody civil war. It wants religious education in public schools, although not even a tenth of its supporters want it. On the whole, as in the previous year and a half, the Church of Serbia has never harmed Montenegrins and other citizens of Montenegro! This resentment will very quickly – like a sea wave – wipe out all the sand towers that the Church of Serbia has built on the Montenegrin shoals!
What will its future social position depend on?
PEROVIĆ: The Church of Serbia does not know Montenegro, nor will it ever be able to take serious root in it. Any of its rooting so far has been possible thanks to the policies of the government, not because of the real receptivity of Serbian Orthodoxy to believing Montenegrins or its spiritual authority!
It cannot offer Montenegro a prosperous spiritual or religious idea, but only the dumbest superstition crushed into perverse ethnophiletism, tribalistic Greater Serbian nationalism and petty fairies. Bribery of “believers” in hard currency is the most imbecile form of pastoral work recorded in modern world religions.
Finally, the Church is organized on a hierarchy of economic-servant relations. Without great damage in itself, the Church cannot transfer these relations to civil and political society, and the Church of Serbia wants just that! Its “clergy” celebrate the “enthronement” of Cetinje as their great victory over Montenegro and do not realize that they suffered a severe mental and political defeat in Cetinje. They stripped themselves to the end. The consequences were immediately felt at the failed church “spectacles” in Podgorica and Berane. The “clergy” obviously do not yet suspect that the “formation of the Government” in Ostrog was not a triumph of the Church of Serbia over Montenegro, but a magnificent beginning of its historical collapse! It should not be forgotten that this Church had once come “for ridicule” to the Montenegrin people. And it will again come, if we're lucky!
Djukanovic is the biggest obstacle to any thug who intends to destroy the state!
In the recent RTCG show, Joanikije mostly dealt with the president of Montenegro, trying to portray him as a “disruptive factor”, and that the Serbian Orthodox Church in Montenegro would spread “brotherly love” even more, if it weren't for Djukanovic. He does not mention that the president was elected by the votes of a convincing majority of Montenegrin citizens…
PEROVIĆ: Overestimating himself, Joanikije unwisely underestimates Đukanović. It cannot occur to him to understand that he will never be anything but a servant of the Church of Serbia. Even less can he understand that Djukanovic has high political and moral legitimacy based on the convincing election results in the subsequent presidential elections. None of that has the current government or the clergy of the Church of Serbia in Montenegro. A wrong assessment leads Joanikije to the illusion that he can successfully deal with Djukanovic's authority on the political field, treat him as a politician whose star is at sunset and insult him by repeating the old Milosevic-Seselj chatter! He does not understand that Djukanovic will be a big political opponent for him for a long time to come. If the comparison isn’t too jovial, it’s like a chicken pooping on a big dog!
Again, this time based on “Pandora's papers,” is President Djukanovic trying to compromise?
PEROVIĆ: As in all previous attempts, with numerous fabricated or inflated “affairs”, the intention to defame Đukanović failed. On-duty grant-eaters and grant-making “scandal producers” hurried to accuse him of crime. It turned out that apart from the usual scandalous noise, which was immediately joined in the most stupid way by the “champions” of the current “Montenegrin” government, there are no facts that would accuse the President of Montenegro of anything! The “affair” shows what has been known for thirty years. Djukanovic is still the biggest obstacle to any thug who intends to destroy Montenegro!
