Moscow ignored Abazovic

Montenegro is not on the list of countries with which Russia has renewed direct flights, although Montenegrin Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic sent a letter to Tatjana Golikova earlier this week with a request that a decision be made at the Crisis Staff session to resume air traffic with Montenegro.

Russia will resume flights with Turkey from June 22, which were canceled a few months ago. In addition, from June 28, it will re-establish direct flights with eight more countries.

Among them are the United States, Bulgaria, Italy, Cyprus, Belgium, Jordan, Ireland, as well as Northern Macedonia.

This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government, Tatiana Golikova, who is at the head of the Russian Crisis Staff for the fight against the corona virus pandemic.

Montenegro is not on that list, although Montenegrin Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic sent a letter to Tatjana Golikova at the beginning of the week with a request that a decision be made at the session of the Crisis Staff to resume air traffic with Montenegro. It is obvious that Moscow ignored Abazović's request.

Since June 10, Russia has resumed flights with Croatia and Albania.
