Živković: URA receives and executes the orders of Aleksandar Vučić

According to Živković, URA's reaction to the agreement between the DF and the Democrats and the war with statements between them and Bečić's party is the most brutal example of vulgar primitivism that has long since crossed all boundaries of good taste.

It is certain that URA receives and executes orders of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and its mentors from Vijesti, so it is not surprising that there was a hotline between Vučić and GP URA leader Dritan Abazović regarding the critical events in Cetinje, said Miodrag Zivkovic the President of the Council of Civic Initiative “21 May” for Pobjeda.

Commenting on the claims of the Democrats that Abazovic's party worked for the President of Serbia during the protest in the capital and the organization of the enthronement of the Metropolitan of the Church of Serbia Joanikije Micovic, Zivkovic points out that it is clear to everyone normal that all threads are withdrawn from Belgrade, just like a doll in the end.”

He states that the hierarchy of the government that “entertains Montenegro for a year” is very clear – it is headed by the President of Serbia, and immediately behind him is the Patriarch of Porfirije.

“Joanikije follows in the command and control role, and the perpetrators of their dirty work are placed in the seats of the Government and the benches of the parliamentary majority. The direct sphere of Vučić's influence is through the DF, and the control over the Democrats is held by Porfirije and Joanikije”, assessed Živković.

VULGAR PRIMITIVISM

The controversy with URA, in which Becic's party accused its coalition partners of reporting to the President of Serbia, intensified after the Democrats reached an agreement with the Democratic Front, which ended the conflicts between the two parties and announced the reshuffle of the current government. Abazovic's party concluded that, with the planned increase in the number of line ministries from 12 to 18 and vice-presidential posts from one to three, only seats are important to their coalition partners.

An all-day conflict ensued in which former friends blamed each other and blamed who got what since they formed a government together in “liberated Montenegro”.

According to Živković, URA's reaction to the agreement between the DF and the Democrats and the war with statements between them and Bečić's party is the most brutal example of vulgar primitivism that has long since crossed all boundaries of good taste.

“Truths, half-truths, lies and hoaxes that they sent to each other are an unprecedented example of dishonesty in Montenegro. This dirty political showdown in which all the illicit means are allowed and speaks most convincingly about the moral stumbling of both of them”, he is categorical.

Nevertheless, Zivkovic adds, he expects URA to finally accept the agreement and extend the mandate of the current government.

“These traitors and invertebrates have long shown that they have no dignity, so any move other than their obedience to the Greater Serbia project would be a big surprise for me,” he said, although he said he would have liked it to be wrong in his assessments.

“I would like URA to surprise me for the first time, or at least just one of its MPs, because that is enough for this government to fall and for us to reach such necessary elections to save this country. Taking into account what they have done so far and especially the way in which they stood by the Church of Serbia in Cetinje, and against Cetinje and civil Montenegro of all religions and nations, it is difficult to expect anything good from them. Servants and traitors are there to serve”, said Živković.

SUPPORT TO THE AGREEMENT

Contrary to the Democrats, the Democratic Front did not react so sharply to the reaction of URA, but with a mild and one could say, conciliatory, statement expressed hope that their smallest coalition partner would support them and enable them to continue exercising power in Montenegro. Zivkovic states that such a scenario is most likely to happen.

“It is difficult to expect anything else from quislings and traitors. I have no dilemma that Abazović is an educated politician and that he has enough intelligence to understand all this very well, so I do not accept explanations that he does not know, does not see or has no experience. I am convinced that this is a pure betrayal of the national and state interests of Montenegro, we just don't know the price and reasons for that betrayal yet”, he emphasized.

He also commented on the statement of one of the leaders of the DF, the president of the Movement for Changes, Nebojsa Medojevic, who pointed out that URA would enter into negotiations with the Democratic Party of Socialists.

“A deliberate provocation of someone who knows well who Abazović is serving. Medojevic's attempt to give meaning to Abazovic's character is complete nonsense for me,” Zivkovic concluded.

The URA leader did not directly state whether such an agreement would be accepted by his coalition partners, but stressed that the Prosecutorial Council should be completed first. He also mentioned that the reconstructed government would lose the current “expert concept”, which, as he stated, is not compatible with the agreement from September 9 last year.

“Disorientation”

Although URA insisted at the end of July on the quick election of members of the Prosecutorial Council from the ranks of eminent lawyers, supporting the party-colored candidate, and reproaching the Democrats for obstructing the procedure, the announcement of completing this body with an agreement between Becic's party and DF was disapproved.

URA MP Božena Jelušić pointed out that the election of members of the Prosecutorial Council from the ranks of eminent lawyers cannot “go in a package with the decision on who will be which minister”.

Zivkovic sees such actions of URA as incompetence.

“How frivolous it is to comment is best shown by the fact that after such a statement by Ms. Jelusic, volleys of personal and party insults followed between the URA and the Democrats, and the next day both were silent, licking each other's wounds like puppies. Their common Saint Sava table is more important than everything, even personal dignity, of course,” he said.

The conflict between the DF and the Democrats ended with the help of official Belgrade

According to Živković, the conflict between the Democrats and the DF was resolved through the mediation of mentors and patrons from Belgrade.

“Democrats finally took their civic mask off their faces, which obviously stung them well, and formalized a new all-Serbian alliance with the DF, which should continue to satirize Montenegro according to the instructions of the state and church leadership of Serbia,” Zivkovic said.

Such a Greater Serbia agreement, he adds, destroys the ridiculous apostolic-expert government, which has so far been largely controlled by the URA and their patron, Vijesti.

“It is an obvious redistribution of power in favor of the original creators of the ‘Serbian world’, whose strength in the ruling coalition is almost 90 percent,” Zivkovic said.
