With Vučić on the verge of despair

However, the people say nicely: Darkness is densest before dawn. I am convinced that an authentic Serbian social being, and not the "Serbian world", will find a way out of this hopelessness. History teaches us that the best ideas are born in a dead end and that this will be the case this time as well.

Writes: Milojko Pantić

It seems absurd but it is true. While on Wednesday, September 15, the entire planet marked the International Day of Democracy, on the initiative of the occupying authorities in Serbia and in their “Serbian world”, the day of Serbian unity, freedom and the flag was marked.

Serbs were much stronger and more open than Milosevic did after the fall of communism. With their freedom, the Serbian communists once tried the impossible: to fight for Yugoslavia with the help of the church and nationalism, that is, for the idea of ”all Serbs in one state”.

Today, Vučić is trying to compensate for Milošević's failures in “defending endangered Serbs” with the help of Hitler's idea of the “Serbian world”. Thus, both de facto and de jure, they confirmed that democracy no longer resides in our country. Regardless of the fact that the outgoing political mentor from Germany, Angela Merkel, declared him a “great democrat” and a true fighter for the rule of law.

It is simply inconceivable that “Muti” does not know that the Serbian political scene is criminalized, that Serbia does not have political parties that compete in the elections with their political programs. There is no multi-party parliament, no independent media or civil society organizations. There are no human rights and freedoms, nor an independent judiciary. Merkel, inadvertently, leaving Belgrade, revealed that behind her visit lies support for Vučić to realize the corrupt and anti-environmental project of the company Rio Tinto.

She cares about our social order also because the democratic system implies that citizens have the right to know everything about the finances, property and financial resources of those who lead society politically. Because people must have a guarantee that those who dispose of their money are not corrupt, that is, that they do not engage in the illegal use of social and state position and power for personal gain. Serbia is ruled by the most corrupt regime in Europe, plundering the state and society on a daily basis and covering it with an alleged national interest.

We live in an illusory, falsified and surreal reality. The devastating vanity of a sick president destroys everything in front of him. Almost every day, instead of ideas, he throws out slogans of oaths, condemnations, threats and praises about himself. As a Turkish fugitive, he turned the entire Serbian economy into his own. His daily press conferences at which he asks and answers are nothing but a circus show that should show the citizens how hard he is, and how his criminal coalition is, how seriously they work and think about the future of the citizens.

And unenlightened and backward Serbia as a “dead sea” is a reservoir of their manipulations. That is why schooling and education were destroyed. Because uneducated people cannot recognize their interest, but blindly follow the lies and promises of waiters, coffee cooks, drivers and all those buyers of diplomas and doctorates, which he turned into ministers and quasi-politicians. The proof is a parliament in which everyone thinks, speaks and acts like the UN. Their brains function only on his character or name.

Last week, Jorgovanka Tabaković, a private treasurer, in the position of Governor of the National Bank, surpassed all his Poltron supporters by saying: “I often ask Vučić, Aleksandar, are these people worthy of you?”, simplicity and primitivism, that daily media lying of the people, destroys the very foundations of the state because it kills people and makes them stupid. We must in every way overthrow their “patriotic” version of democracy without institutions, laws, enlightenment and public opinion.

The government, which consists of war profiteers and instigators, as well as people from the social margins and social sediment, has brought Serbia to a step of despair. The only salvation is the way out of decades of communist and nationalist totalitarianism and a thorough clearing with the bearers of war policy from the 1990s. All of them must be lustrated or expelled from political and public life. They must be prosecuted for the crimes they committed from the 1990s to the present day. And finally, all illegally acquired property must be confiscated from them. This is of course easy to say and hard to accomplish.

The people, however, say nicely: Darkness is densest before dawn. I am convinced that an authentic Serbian social being, and not the “Serbian world”, will find a way out of this hopelessness. History teaches us that the best ideas are born in a dead end and that this will be the case this time as well.

P.S. Many readers of Danas, rightly drew my attention to the fact that the ancestor of the Serbian “deep state” is Rastko Nemanjić – Saint Sava. He identified the Church and the state with his version of Orthodoxy, which is today called the Holy See. Indeed, the Church of Saint Sava and the “Service” are the main factors of the Serbian “deep state” that is spreading under the slogan “Serbian world”.
