Knezevic: It depends on Becic and Abazovic whether there will be an election

Knezevic assessed that the Resolution on Srebrenica is even more shameful than the recognition of Kosovo in 2008 by the authorities of Milo Djukanovic, because this time parts of the parliamentary majority voted for the resolution, which beat the DPS on the wave of lithium and Serbian votes on August 30 last year.

One of the leaders of the Democratic Front (DF), Milan Knezevic, assessed that Parliament Speaker Aleksa Becic and Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic are now on the move, and that it depends on them whether there will be new elections in Montenegro.

Speaking on TV Pink, Knezevic said that the DF would no longer suffer the humiliation of the Serbian people and the Serbian Orthodox Church, as well as that it would not allow everything that was achieved in the elections on August 30 last year to be endangered.

In Montenegro, as he said, Jasenovac must not even be mentioned, and “when it comes to Serbian victims and when the state leadership of Serbia is announced, the state leadership of Montenegro announces that the country is independent and will not allow interference in internal affairs.”

“I would like to hear and someone explain to me how and in what way Serbia interfered in the internal affairs of Montenegro and where it threatens the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Montenegro,” Knezevic said, commenting on the reactions in Montenegro after the statements of the state leadership of Serbia on the Resolution on Srebrenica adopted in the Montenegrin Assembly.

Knezevic assessed that the Resolution on Srebrenica is even more shameful than the recognition of Kosovo in 2008 by Milo Djukanovic's government, because this time parts of the parliamentary majority voted for the resolution, which defeated the DPS on the wave of lithium and Serbian votes on August 30 last year.

He believes that the Resolution was not written in Montenegro and that it would never have been written in that country, because, he says, the Serbian population in Montenegro is against the resolution that qualifies Serbs, Serbia and the Serbian Orthodox Church as genocidal.

Knezevic expects that a “wave” of passing such resolutions will start in the region in order to create the foundations for the story about the abolition of the Republika Srpska.

Asked to comment on the behavior of Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapic, who, according to the journalists, was dissatisfied with the adoption of the resolution, Knezevic said that Krivokapic had betrayed the will of Metropolitan Amfilohije.

Knezevic added that the Democratic Front left the parliament, because, he states, an ad hoc parliamentary majority with DPS deputies was created on Friday night.
