GI “21. May”: The government does not prosecute savagery when it is sponsored by the Serbian Orthodox Church

As they claim, the extreme right-wing misogynistic ideology they generated in the Serbian Orthodox Church is also reflected in the threats of journalist Slavica Kruščić

Last night's violence on the streets of Podgorica, the attack on activists, is proof that political gatherings organized by the Serbian church are almost always a security risk. The reason for that is because the political events they sponsor are always with an extreme right-wing ideological background – it was announced from the Civic Initiative (GI) “21. May”.

As they claim, the extreme-right misogynistic ideology that they generated in the Serbian Orthodox Church is also reflected in the threats of journalist Slavica Kruščić.

– This time the occasion was the “documentary” of the propagandist and the scandal of the master Boris Malagurski. The film, which was expelled from the cinema in his hometown of Subotica, is now walking from town to town in Montenegro with the help of the church and local authorities in some places, provoking protests. If he were lucky, this man would be a persona non grata here, as is already the case in Kosovo – it is stated in the statement signed by Miodrag Živković, Ljubomir Filipović, Rade Bojović.

They claim that “the attack on the activists and the police officers themselves” is proof that the government has a serious problem in prosecuting “savagery when it is sponsored by the Serbian church”.

– GI on May 21, whose prominent officials were among the attacked feminists last night, will soon file criminal charges against those who threatened and attacked the participants in the performance – it is stated in the announcement.
